Con Demetriou grew up on a farm about an hour west of Sydney. In school, Con excelled at many different sports and became the athlete of the year. Professionally, he studied nutrition and sports performance and ended up applying all this knowledge and energy to bodybuilding. Con entered his first competition at 17 and won several, including the teenage Mr Australia. He owned his own gym in Sydney, and as a trainer, worked with many people from all walks of life, from 1st grade footballers to the late Princess Diana. He went on to win the Mr Australia title 6 times and recently turned pro, now competing mainly in the USA.
